How we make decisions on policies
All applications for Refugee Status and Family Reunification are processed in accordance with the Refugee Act 1996.
All applications for Subsidiary Protection are processed in accordance with the European Union (Subsidiary Protection) Regulations, 2013.
An Annual Report on the operation of ORAC is laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas within 3 months of the end of each year.
Appropriate internal and external financial controls are applied by the organisation to ensure that ORAC is in compliance with relevant Financial Policy Procedures and Public Procurement Guidelines.
ORAC’s Expenditure Outturn is published yearly in the Organisation’s Annual Report.
Monthly statistics are published on the Organisation’s Website www.orac.ie
Statistics are also provided in the ORAC Annual Reports which are submitted to the Minister for Justice and Equality in accordance with the Refugee Act, 1996.
